I did already have some very basic knowledge of CSS, but this week's assignment filled in the gaps I had in my knowledge. This assignment provided essential context for how to use CSS elements, in my previous class I was using CSS elements without totally knowing what was going on. I also learned some new things about typefaces: I learned what a monospace font is why it is called that, and what it is used for; and I also learned about the different sections of a typeface and what they are called.
