Where design meets dining — and every plate comes with a story.
The Salted Fork started the way many of my favorite things do — with good food, a camera in my hand, and a deep love for the South Coast. After spending more than a decade in the hospitality world, I realized the moments I cherished most weren’t just about serving great meals. They were about the stories behind them — the chefs experimenting after hours, the families celebrating milestones, the way a sunset can completely change the flavor of a waterfront dinner.
At the same time, I was growing my passion for design, branding, and photography. I found myself constantly documenting dishes, jotting down menu ideas, and capturing the little details that make a restaurant feel like home. Friends and coworkers would ask where to eat, what’s kid-friendly, or which places had the best views — and I loved giving recommendations as much as I loved discovering new spots.
