Web Design & Media Arts Student

I’m currently a Web Design student at Bristol Community College. My days are spent working on my PC and caring for my beautiful four year old daughter, London. As a returning student at the age of 39 years old it has been a huge challenge. Finding the time to work on design projects and my academic classes have been a struggle. But worth all the effort. The satisfaction I receive developing and creating art alone is gratifying in itself. Not to mention the pride my daughter gets when she sees my final design. And, spending time with London and sharing what I’m learning and developing has been fulfilling.

My future is looking bright and refreshing. Beginning of this journey my aim was to earn an associate’s degree in Web Design. During the past two years have broaden my choices. Working alongside excellent art instructors and students have bestowed the confidence and ambition to do what I would love. I have a few ideas that I would like to work towards. I haven’t completely decided on transferring to a four-year program or not. Still, the confidence and understanding of my surroundings have made this experience essential and complete.
